Abstract Pen Drawings For SaleI literally love creating art! Whether I am creating abstract art and putting ink on paper, or paint onto a canvas, making art is what I was born to do. One of my favorite mediums is using basic pen ink to create weird and unique forms of abstract pen drawings. While some people may consider doodling a "waste of time," I consider doodling a critical part of the creative process. Searching and finding new geometric forms and abstract shapes play a crucial role in providing new art that creates a unique and personal experience for all viewers. Creating art with complex lines and unique forms that develop a sometimes provocative abstract art piece is very satisfying. Additionally, this outlet allows me and any artist to escape from "real life." I can easily get lost for hours in one of my abstract illustrations. Back Rooms of My Mind- Door #13113 Pen and Ink Abstract Drawings by Mimo ArtThese pen ink drawings are weird to some but fantastic worlds full of emotion and special details to me. Some of my ink drawings are full of complex forms, details, patterns, faces, and geometric shapes that leave very little negative space. And some of my ink art pieces are quite simple drawings. You are able to experience the full spectrum of my imagination in this series. These abstract drawings are a reflection of myself in my element. When I am operating in a state of flow, I know the stars are aligned, and nothing can break me from it when I am coming up with new abstract creations. Except for maybe my wife's amazing chocolate chip cookies! They are to die for. An Adult Coloring BookOver the years, I have accumulated a ton of art, so much in fact that I am creating a book! I am taking my abstract pen drawings and I am pairing them with some of my poetry. I have titled this series "The Back Rooms of My Mind" and each volume will be a catalog of a certain point in my life. This will all be reflected in pen drawings of course and will be for you to interpret and analyze. :) Back Rooms of My Mind- Door #17715 Why do I love using pen ink to create art instead of other mediums? It's a great question, and the biggest reason why I love my trusty pens is that they make me efficient! I can bring a pad of paper and my pens anywhere I am traveling. There is minimal effort involved in setting up and later on when it's time to clean up. Whereas with painting (which I also do and love), I need to set up my canvas, easel, paints, brushes, water, and rags. Then I have to clean up my studio. I love both mediums, but those are the biggest reasons I continue to go back to my pen art. It's just less messy! Here are some more of my favorite abstract drawings in pen. Enjoy! As I start to spend more time on my drawings, they start to get deeper and deeper and go down some pretty wild paths, and I consume more and more delicious cookies to hold me offer while I am off on my educational journey in exploration! To me, creating abstract art with so many different patterns and lines keeps me more engaged with the drawing, and as I get pulled from one shape, the line morphs into a new form, and the drawing takes on a new appearance. I may have lost you in that last sentence but, I hope you are willing to take the journey into the unknown with me.
This abstract art series is where I break all the traditional rules. I burn the box, and I let go of the wheel. I truly allow my imagination to take over! I remove all outside pressure of "what success looks like" and put the ink on the paper. At the end of the day, it's about having fun and happiness and for my own education. I am always looking to grow as an artist. If you like these, then you may enjoy diving deeper into the back rooms of my mind by exploring more of my ink on paper drawings.
