This adorable and kind of grumpy looking dinosaur is so huge; he is literally walking with his head above the clouds. The dinosaur have some cool back spikes that go all the way down his back. Additionally, this dinosaur has a unique speckled pattern around its body that can allow for some interesting contrast as your children color the page.

New Animal Art From PinkEarly this year, I launched a Kickstarter campaign to raise money for my new children's book, Pink. Pink is a funny and imaginative children's book with tons of beautiful animal art for kids. Who doesn't love fun and funky animal characters colored in pink?​

The campaign fell short of reaching its goal. However, it was a great experience, and I learned a ton. The Kickstarter was also a great reminder of why everyone should set goals. Having the main focus of launching my children's book through a Kickstarter campaign allowed me to prioritize my time. Most of the time was dedicated to creating all the animal drawings for my book. Being organized, allowed me to make sure I was meeting my deadlines so that I was prepared to launch the campaign and full-fill all my goal promises. 

So, I took my story and all my animal art, and I launched my book on Amazon. The book looks good, and I completed my higher goal of bringing my story and vision to life in a beautiful book for children and adults to enjoy. A byproduct of my accomplishments is that I now have all this beautiful animal artwork and the main character Zoe, which is why I have finally added my watercolor animal drawings to FineArtAmerica.com.

If you are looking for a specific animal and don't see them on my site, you can hire me to create custom animal drawings or other drawings that you might want.
In other news, I am working on my bringing my next story to life. It's going to include a monster, some more animals, and some insects. 
It's sure to bring a lot of joy to the world.  ​I will try to post an update of that story soon.

There has never been a time in the world better than now to look for and find funny kids books for children. There are so many talented writers and illustrators that are creating some very funny children's books. Some of my favorite kids books are by local (to me) authors living in New England author Josh Funk and Peter Reynolds. Another one of my all time favorite children's book authors and illustrators is Oliver Jeffers. Who doesn't enjoy his stories and artwork?

I have been working on a new children's book for a few years now that teaches kids about creating new colors. The story, which I will also create a coloring book for kids that enjoy a silly coloring book, is about a girl named Zoe that loves painting everything in the color PINK! Yes, Pink!

This funny picture book takes children on a journey and explores the wonderful magic of mixing colors together and is sure to make children and parents laugh while teaching them about color.

Additionally, along with one of the kickstarter tiers I am including a pink ​coloring book with coloring book pages for children that love coloring. And what kid doesn't love to color?

​If you haven't heard of the starfish story, you may know it by the title: " The Star Thrower. " The person that wrote the starfish story is Loren Eiseley, the author of The Immense Journey. Loren's story has stood the test of time as people often look back and reference The Star Thrower when having a conversation regarding change and someone's ability to make a true difference in the world.

In 2014, inspired by Mr. Eiseley, I created my own starfish story for children, parents, teachers, and anyone that likes picture books and, of course, a fun story. The cover of my book "Addison's Starfish Adventure," is pictured below.
