"Art and artists are driven by passion and the emotional ride can veer off to anger and/or depression. We should not forget to enjoy the experience of daily creativity, whatever that may entail." -(Diane Carter)
How do you like this quote above? I like it a lot and if I ever forget to blog or I am too busy creating more work, I will just repost this quote and say, "I am sorry I haven't posted in a while, I was busy creating"! :)
Anyway, we woke up around 4AM to get ready and load up the cars... the rain and humidity was in full force. We were driving by 5AM and the rain subsided, for a bit. Along our drive, we spotted a Great Blue Heron hanging out by this small pond and we both wanted to stop, however, we wanted to allow ourselves enough time to set up our booth.
As we rolled into Keene the skies were unleashing all the rain in the world or so it seemed. It was torrential down pour and a near wash out! The hard core artist were still setting up their tents and art. We on the other hand, decided to "take a break" and went straight to Elm City Bagels for some breakfast and coffee*. * Note: I don't drink coffee, but I do love coffee in porter and stout beers. After about an hour, the rain let up and we decided to set out booth up and prepare for the weekend!
