Every year people flock North to Northern New England to enjoy the crisp, cool Autumn weather while the birds start their migration south. These people are called 'leaf peepers' and excited to take photos of the beautiful leaves changing color. The New England Fall foliage always amazes me.
A few weeks ago I did a little hiking in the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Although the foliage is a bit delayed from the lack of rain, there were still a few spots that had started to turn.
While we were hiking and walking along the stream and trail, we came across this beautiful waterfall. People gathered around to enjoy the breathtaking view. Kids played in the water while laughter echoed off the stone wall. Some rested and ate lunch while others waited in line to take photos to remember this moment. The crisp fall air in the woods was present and most enjoyable.
We snapped a few photos and continued on up the trail. There wasn't much foliage to focus on so the waterfall was great to have. It was a great weekend.
I recently sold some prints of this photo. You can buy your own prints here.
This upcoming weekend (Columbus Day), should be much nicer for the leaf peepers visiting New Hampshire. This weekend is typically a great weekend for viewing the New England foliage. I have seen much more foliage over the past few days and I am pretty excited about it myself.

People love to protect animals, right? Why shouldn't we, they are amazing creatures and some people love to harm them.
I have been working on a ton of art lately and this is one of my new paintings here. This painting is called "Make A Splash". This painting is a sun with a heart and a dolphin tail in the middle.
A few months ago I started getting into animal art. Over the past few years I have been trying to figure out how I can do what I love to do -create beautiful art- while making an impact on the world. This new animal art series I am working on has a tentative title of "Love Art".
The secrets out... What do you think of that title for my new series? This love art series is going to consist of suns, hearts, bright colors, and of course, have animals in it.
That's all well in good right? But the title of this article is "How buying art can protect animals around the world". Fair point, don't worry, I am getting to that.
Save the world - buy animal art!
I am really serious about helping animals and making a difference in the world with my art. Which is why I am donating 50% of all sales from my "Love Art" series! That's right, you read that correctly!
That's how buying animal art can protect animals. I am drawn to helping animals with my art like other activists because animals don't have voices and need humans to stand up and help them. Animal artwork differs from artist to artist, but all creations are beautiful in their own way.
Help protect our wildlife by purchasing a painting or drawing or print of your favorite animal.
Here's a post I created on another series I am also working on, but it's focused on helping dogs and cats.
