I literally love creating art! It is what I was born to do. One of my favorite mediums is just using basic pen to create weird and unique abstract pen drawings.
These pen drawings are weird to some but normal to me. This is my imagination at it's finest. These abstract drawings are a reflection of me in my element. When I am operating in a state of flow nothing can break me from it when I am coming up with new creations.
Back Rooms of My Mind- Door #17715
Over the years, I have accumulated a ton of art, so much in fact that I am creating a book! I am taking my abstract pen drawings and I am pairing them with some of my poetry. I have titled this series "The Back Rooms of My Mind" and each volume will be a catalog of a certain point in my life. This will all be reflected in pen drawings of course and will be for you to interpret and analyze. :)

Why do I love using pen ink to create art instead of other mediums?
Back Rooms of My Mind- Door #13113
It's a great question and biggest reason why I love my trusty pens is because they make me efficient!
I can bring a pad of paper and my pens anywhere I am traveling. There is minimal effort involved in set up and later on when it's time to clean up. Whereas with painting (which I also use and love), I need to set up my canvas and my easel and my paints, brushes, water, rags. Then I have to clean up my studio. I love both mediums and but those are the biggest reasons why I continue to go back to my pen art. It's just less messy!
Here are some more of my favorite drawings in pen. Enjoy!
As I start to spend more time on my drawings, they start to get deeper and deeper and go down some pretty wild paths! Hope you are willing to take the journey into the unknown with me.
This abstract drawing series is where break all traditional rules, I burn the box, and I let go of the wheel and I truly allow my imagination to take over!
I've been creating art in some form or another all my life and it's what I love to do.
