There are a ton of amazing ocean books available for kids today. As I was looking at the top twenty on Amazon, they were mostly about sharks and Mermaids. There is a new Jellyfish book available, however it's a novel and not a picture book.
Here are the top 3 books about the ocean that look pretty interesting to me.
The first kids book is about a Beluga Whale. This looks pretty cute and has some good artwork. It's ranked number 1 on Amazon right now.
The second book about the ocean that looks good is a Shark book by Dr. Seuss. You can't go wrong with a book by the Dr.! :)
The third picture book that looked decent is called Three Little Mermaids.
I haven't' read any of these, I am literally judging books by their covers... and reviews of course!
I created my own kids book that is called Addison's Starfish Adventure.
It's a cute story about a girl that wants to find starfish at the ocean. It's an ocean book for kids that discusses leaving animals in their natural habitat and also has activities at the back of the book for kids to enjoy!
The next book I make about the ocean is going to be about a Turtle! I already have the idea outlined and I am working on the artwork right now! I am really excited about the next few books I am working on.
