There are a few things I truly love in life: my wife, family/friends, creating art, being healthy, and laughing. I am always trying incorporate my sense of humor in my art. I love to laugh, and I love to make other people laugh and be happy. It's what I was placed on this earth to do... Make funny art! The great thing is, I am not the only one that was born to do this. There are many artists that are creating wicked funny pieces of art. A couple of artists I follow are: Matthew Inman, creator of The Oatmeal and Scott Adams, creator of Dilbert. In this article, I am highlighting a drawing by Matt because I feel he blends humor and art in his cartoon "Minor Differences part 6" ( below), is a perfect example of funny art. Now I can't say for sure, because I've never been in a ladies room or at least I am not admitting that on here ;). What Matt illustrates in his drawing is what everyone assumes most ladies and mens public bathrooms room look like. Spoiler alert...This is why it's funny. :) I literally laughed out loud (LOL) when I saw this. In some cases, the sad reality is, the men's room drawing isn't too far off the mark. Yipes! As I mentioned a moment ago, I too try to incorporate my sense of humor and personal warped perspective of humor into my art. Here are a couple of drawings that I feel fits into the world and category of funny art.
